2/21 RSM “Coffee First, Suffering Later” Edition ☕️🔥
This week we roll out through Rancho Mission Viejo via Antonio, cruising through the heart of RSM pretending this is a chill social ride… (it is not 😂). We’ll take a very strategic “performance stop” at Canyon Coffee — scientifically proven to add at least +20 watts and questionable confidence. Fully caffeinated, the group jumps onto the Los Patrones Bike Path heading north before meeting the real coaches of the day: Oso, Marguerite, and Vista del Lago — three hills personal

2/14/26 - OCRR Remote Ride - Malibu
Saturday is Valentine's Day and what better way to spend it than to exercise your heart riding up and down the hills in Malibu! Our route starts in Westlake Village and heads to the coast via the very rolly Potrero Road. We hit the coast near Point Magu followed by a pleasant stroll along the ocean. The hills back inland start very abruptly with Decker Road followed by more climbing out of Encinal Canyon & on Mulholland Hwy. The return route highlights are a fast descent d

02/07 Alicia + PID + Felipe + VDL
Look, we’ve all made questionable life choices. Some people get face tattoos; others decide that "gas station sushi" is a viable lunch option. Me? I’m posting a ride that includes PID . I’d like to blame a momentary lapse in sanity or perhaps a very persuasive ghost, but here we are. For the uninitiated (or the blissfully ignorant), PID usually stands for Pelvic Inclinatory Distress —otherwise known as "That One Hill That Makes You Question Your Human Rights. RWGPS: ...

1/10/26 - OCRR Ride - Irvine to San Clemente
The goal of this week's route is to avoid carrying our extra holiday weight up any monster climbs, but still giving our legs a decent workout. A stroll all the way down to San Clemente should do us well. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53676276 Let me know if you're looking for something a bit shorter and I can oblige. Clip-in at 8:30 am at Windrow Park in Irvine. Ron www.ocrebels.org

01/03 The "Strategic Retreat" Version
Happy 2026! I’ve checked the forecast, and we have until 2:00 PM Saturday before the sky turns into a giant shower head. I’ve planned a route specifically for the "fair-weather-friends" among us. It’s less of a ride and more of a calculated escape plan. We’re stopping for coffee at mile 20 for a group therapy session to decide who’s actually tough and who’s going home to sit in a dry bathtub.
