🇺🇸🚴 OC Rebels 4th of July Tradition – GMR to Baldy Village ⛰️

Hello OC rebels,

It’s that time again! Our annual 4th of July ride up Glendora Mountain Road and Glendora Ridge Road to Mt. Baldy Village. This year, the 4th of July falls on a Saturday, making it the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day!

Even better, the road from Glendora Ridge Road to Baldy Village will be closed to vehicle traffic and open only to cyclists, giving us a rare opportunity to enjoy one of Southern California’s most iconic climbs without cars.

Expect amazing views, plenty of climbing, and an unforgettable descent.

Ride Details:🚴 Distance: ~44 miles⛰️ Elevation: ~5,600 ft💪 Pace: Climbing pace — we’ll regroup at key points.

Bring plenty of water and snacks. We’ll have the chance to refill bottles and grab a bite once we reach Baldy Village.

Start time will be @ 8:30 am to beat the heat!

Who’s ready to kick off the 4th of July with an epic climb? 🇺🇸🔥
