Here's a new spin to some familiar and trusted routes. We first take in the natural serenity of Shady Canyon followed by a climb up Newport Coast including an extra grueling climb up Ridge Park. You have the option to skip Ridge Park and we'll meet back up at Pelican Hill Rd for the exhilarating drop down to PCH. We continue through the residential streets of CDM, skirt Fashion Island and then across to Back Bay. We then take the San Diego Creek bike path up to Tustin for our coffee stop near the sole surviving blimp hanger at Tustin Legacy. We finish Saturday's route with a gentle climb up Portola to the toll road and then back down to Windrow Park.
