Note: small route revision! In CDM we will turn left onto Poppy from PCH and hook up with Bayside for the ride over to Back Bay.
Back by "popular demand", this repeat of last year's ride starts off with a climb up Newport Coast including Ridge Park Rd which then gives way to a more stress-free and scenic ride as we skim the west banks of Back Bay at Castaways, continuing up through Irvine on the bike path to Portola Pkwy and back down to Windrow Park.
Those wishing to skip Ridge Park Rd can continue on Newport Coast Dr and meet the rest at Pelican Hill Rd.
