9/3/22 OCCR Ride - Irvine to Oceanside

Keith had a great ride suggestion for us, one that will hopefully keep us closer to cooler temperatures, the route will start at the Irvine train station and head to Oceanside.
The route does travel through Camp Pendleton where a pass is required for entry. Those without a pass are able to ride on the shoulder of the 5 freeway from Las Pulgas Rd to Harbor Dr (approx. 8 miles).
We’ll return to Irvine via MetroLink. Trains depart Oceanside for Irvine at 128, 235, 428,& 536pm. Weekend tickets are $10 and are available at the station kiosks or via the MetroLink app.
Lunch at Knockout Pizza near the station, time permitting.
Clip-in at the Irvine train station at 830am.
