2/4/23 OCRR Remote Ride - Carbon Canyon-Chino Hills-Diamond Bar-Whittier-West Turnbull Canyon

The ride Saturday heads to parts of OC & LA County seldom frequented by us. We’ll start in Fullerton and head out through Carbon Canyon on the way to Chino & Diamond Bar. The rolly East & West roads will eventually lead us to our coffee stop at Starbucks in Whittier. Even more climbing comes next as we scale the west side of Turnbull Canyon before making our way back to Fullerton.

For those wanting a bit less miles & climbing the Turnbull Canyon loop can easily be skipped. That route would be ~45mi & 1400+’ less climbing.

The starting point is at the Fullerton Courthouse parking lot. It’s a big lot, so take a look at the map.
